Overwhelming support for Bea, John Lloyd

KAPAMILYA love team John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo didn't expect the support and love they received from the fans in their latest movie “Miss You Like Crazy."

The movie, which had a back-to-back premiere night last Tuesday in Trinoma and SM Mega Mall, was well attended not only by fans but also their by showbiz friends.
Spotted in the event were latest love team PBB Double Up Big Winner Melisa Cantiveros and Jason Francisco (3rd placer). The two were joined by Johan Santos (4th placer) and Tibo Jumallon (5th placer).

Gretchen Barretto, Aiza Seguerra, “Rubi” star Angelica Panganiban, Rayver Cruz, Vhong Navarro, Sam Milby, and Anne Curtis also attended the premiere night at SM Mega Mall.

John Lloyd and Bea told Sun.Star that attending another premiere night and seeing the never-ending support of their fans is like doing it on the first time.

“Para akong bumabalik dati, hindi ko alam yung nangyayari. Parang first time lahat,” Bea said.

John Lloyd, for his part, said he's very happy with all the things that “Miss You Like Crazy” achieved even early on its play date and the people who did everything for their movie.

He said they are still surprise with all the support given by their fans and its a new experience for them.

“Napaka vital, napaka essential yun sa would-be-success na gusto ko ng i-claim at this point kasi kung hindi naman dahil dun sa three years na hindi kami nagkasama, it won't be the same,” he added. “Hindi ko maabot yung mga naabot ko individually as an actor kung hindi kami nag part ways.”

Bea also said they needed to grow separately and to gain wisdom, knowledge, and experience by themselves.

When asked to react on the praises they got from co-showbiz stars, their fans and all moviegoers who watched the film, both John Lloyd and Bea said there's still so much to learn.

“Mas masarap maging estudyante, masa masarap yung laging may matututunan kesa alam mo lahat,” Bea said.

John Lloyd added: “There's still so much to learn but its always nice to, somewhere a long the way, appreciate yourself, your hard work. It's always flattering to hear that, pero mas masarap mag focus dun sa mga bagay na that will continue to provide drive, intensity, eagerness and knowledge.”

“Miss You Like Crazy,” first day nationwide gross projection reached P18 million.

The two are endlessly saying their thank you to everyone who watched movies by ABS-CBN.

“If its not for them, we won't be here. It's is only right to give them good films and to make them happy,” Bea said.

“Miss You Like Crazy” is still open in over 100 theaters nationwide.
