Sarah Geronimo benefits from Judy Ann’s pregnancy

Although some stars get irked when the filming of their movie is rushed for any reason, it is not so with Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo.

Sarah is actually ecstatic that work in her forthcoming movie “Hating Magkapatid” has been accelerated because of her co-star Judy Ann Santos’ pregnancy.

“Naiintindihan naman ng lahat na kailangang madaliin ang pag gawa ng pelikula kasi lumalaki na ang tiyan ni Ate Juday. Two days lang kasi siya pwedeng magtrabaho sa isang linggo at may cut off yung oras ng trabaho kaya pati kami, damay sa paguwi ng maaga,” she said in an interview held March 27.

Sarah added that Judy Ann is fond of pinching people in the set nowadays; a part, perhaps, of her “paglilihi.” She said she would readily accept Judy Ann’s offer to become one of the godmothers of her baby if told so.

Recall that during the weeks the media were speculating on Judy Ann’s pregnancy, Sarah kept tight-lipped about the matter despite being one of the first people who was privy to the information.

On other matters, Sarah admitted that she and Filipino-Italian actor-racer Matteo Guidicelli have been texting each other lately and are even Facebook friends.

“I learned about his birthday through Facebook so I BBM-ed him a greeting. Sumagot naman siya ng ‘Thank you’ pero that was it. No, hindi siya nanliligaw,” she said.

The two met in Sarah’s concert in Cebu where Matteo watched upon the invitation of his friend, singer Billy Crawford. Rumors about Sarah and Matteo flew fast after it was reported that Matteo asked to be introduced to Sarah’s parents backstage.

Did Matteo really give her flowers?

“Susmaryosep! Wala!”

Sarah turned serious when asked to comment about talks that she earned a bundle of money from endorsing presidentiable Manny Villar and vice-presidentiable Loren Legarda.

“Honestly, di ko alam ang kinikita ko sa kahit ano’ng bagay na ginagawa ko. Di kasi ako masyadong concerned sa kita, eh. Ako, nagtratrabaho po para sa pamilya ko, para sa pangarap ko. Eto pong page-endorso ko kay Senator Loren ay personal kong decision kasi pareho kami ng mga pinaniniwalaan,” she said.

Sarah recently recorded a new version of her hit song “Ikaw Lamang” with new lyrics for use as Legarda’s latest campaign song. They shot its music video in Tanay, Rizal.

One of Loren’s advocacies that Sarah strongly believes in is the caring for the plight of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

“Lalo na yung mga babaeng OFWs. Alam naman nating maraming kababaihan ang namamaltrato ng mga amo nila abroad,” Sarah was quoted as saying.

Sarah and Loren called on the country to participate in the Earth Hour Saturday, March 27.
